Fed: WYD cross to arrive in Canberra
The icon of the world's largest youth event .. the Catholic World Youth Day cross ..
will arrive at Parliament House in Canberra today.
Sydney Catholic Archbishop Cardinal GEORGE PELL will join hundreds of schoolchildren
and parliamentarians in welcoming the 3.8 metre cross into parliament.
The cross has spent the past seven months travelling around Australia in the lead-up
to the WYD event .. to be held in Sydney from July 15-20.
It'll mark the first visit of Pope BENEDICT to Australia.
